School Field Trips
Many keiki don’t realize that food begins on the farm, not at the supermarket. At Kahuku Farms, we invite them to discover where it truly begins—growing in healthy soil under open skies. Our field trips bring students onto the land to explore, learn, and reconnect with nature. Through hands-on experiences and real farm discoveries, children see how local fruits and vegetables are grown and cared for, and leave with a greater appreciation for the land that provides for us all.
Our school field trips are offered on Thursdays and Fridays at 9:30 AM and are designed to give students a meaningful, outdoor learning experience on our family farm, rooted in four generations of island farming.
During their visit, students enjoy a guided wagon ride through the fields, learn about seasonal tropical crops, explore our cacao orchard, and discover firsthand how food is grown and cared for. Each experience is thoughtfully designed to connect keiki to the land through hands-on learning and real farm exploration.
Cost: $10 per person
Schedule: Thursdays & Fridays at 9:30AM
Teachers can now book directly through our website to reserve their class visit. We look forward to welcoming your students to the farm for a fun, engaging day of learning in the fresh air.
